This intake air temperature sensor is common equipment on 86-01 Honda Acura Integra, 89-95 Honda Civic CRX, 92-95 Honda Del Sol, 90-93 Honda Accord & 88-01 Honda Prelude, VTEC or non-VTEC. It is commonly installed into a socket with 2 holding screws on the intake manifold for intake air temperature charge reading. It may also fit other applications. The intake air temperature sensor is a temperature dependant resistor (thermistor). The resistance of the thermistor decreases as the intake air temperature increases. The intake air temprature changes is relayed to the ECU.

When check engine light (CEL) or maintenance indicator lamp (MIL) indicates code 10, OR, scan tool indicates DTC P0111, P0112 or P0113, there is a problem with the intake air temperature (TA) sensor and/or circuit.
